How and What Information We Collect. In order to use certain services associated with the website, you may be required to register with Asheville Music Professionals. When you register as a website user or otherwise voluntarily contact or share information with Asheville Music Professionals, including through use of the website, Asheville Music Professionals will collect certain personally identifiable information from you. This information may include your name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, age, gender, and other information volunteered by you, such as information provided through responses, registration, reviews, emails, messages, and other electronic submissions sent by you to Asheville Music Professionals. You should not provide Asheville Music Professionals with any personally identifiable information (or submit any personally identifiable information to Asheville Music Professionals or any affiliated forums) unless you would like that information to be used by Asheville Music Professionals in accordance with this Policy.
Asheville Music Professionals may also automatically collect non-personally identifiable information from you, directly or indirectly, when you access the website, including but not limited to your Internet Protocol (“IP”) Address, the type of browser you use to access our website, and/or other similar types of information.
What We Do With Your Information.

Certain types of accounts accessed through the Asheville Music Professionals website (e.g., musician and board member accounts) (“Special Accounts”) offer the opportunity to share information, including your contact information, with other people who have the same types of Special Accounts. If you do not wish to share your information with others having the same types of Special Accounts, please do not input this information into the Asheville Music Professionals website through your Special Account or otherwise provide such information to Asheville Music Professionals for incorporation into the Special Accounts. By logging in to a Special Account through the website, you acknowledge and agree that others with the same type of Special Accounts will have access to information you make available through your own account. Asheville Music Professionals is unable to guarantee the accuracy of this type of information and is not responsible for any actions taken with respect to your information by other Special Account holders.
A Note for Parents. The website and any other affiliated forums, are not directed to children under eighteen (18) years of age except as required for activities with Asheville Music Professionals and with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Asheville Music Professionals does not knowingly directly solicit or collect personal information from children under eighteen (18) years of age through its website. In the event Asheville Music Professionals becomes aware that personal information relating to a child under the age of eighteen (18) has been collected or shared without proper authorization, we will make reasonable efforts to remove such information from our database.

For example, we work with Ticketmaster in order to provide online ticket sales, Salesforce to collect contact and payment information for sales of goods, and Mailchimp to assist in newsletter distribution. We may also release your address information to a third party delivery service to deliver products that you order and/or provide order information to third parties that help us provide customer service.
Our service partners as well as other third-party websites that may be linked to our website have their own privacy and data collection policies and practices. Asheville Music Professionals is not responsible for any actions or privacy policies of such third parties. You should check the applicable privacy policies of those third parties when providing personally identifiable information through linked websites.
Security. To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
